Gestalt Counselling and Therapy in the City, Central London - near Blackfriars & Old Street

Session Details

I offer an initial consultation session to all prospective clients. It is an opportunity for us both to meet before committing to regular on-going therapy sessions. This meeting provides a chance for you to find out more about the counselling process and for me to find out about you, and to discuss what hopes and expectations you may have for the forthcoming therapy.

Following the initial session if we both agree to work together we will agree suitable dates and times for future on-going therapy sessions. These sessions last for 50 minutes.

At all times you will be heard in a confidential and safe manner and in accordance with the code of ethics of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists (BACP) of which I am a member. I receive regular supervision from a BACP registered supervisor in order to ensure that I maintain a high standard of practice.

Currently, I offer both brief and long term gestalt therapy in central London at locations near Blackfriars (EC4) and Old Street (EC2) close to the busy business areas of the city.

Attendance

In order for you to benefit the most from counselling it is important that you attend each session. It is important that you give me as much notice as possible if you are unable to attend your session. If you wish to end the sessions before any pre-arranged time scale then I suggest that we meet at least for two weeks to work through the ending process and review the work completed. If you miss two sessions in a row without contacting me, then I may not be able to keep your counselling space available for you.

Fees & Cancellations Policy

My fees are: £45 per session.

I ask you to make any payment by cheque or in cash, either monthly in advance or at the beginning of each session. If you do not keep your payments up to date, I will not be able to keep your counselling space open for you. Fees are subject to annual review.

All cancellations must be made 24 hours before scheduled appointment. Otherwise, the full fee will be charged.
